Care & Preservation

The Final Touch

A frame protects the photograph and shapes how it sits in the room. The right materials keep the print stable, reduce reflections, and help it stay beautiful for decades. This guide covers the essentials whether you choose a Ready to Hang option or frame locally.

01. The Breathing Space

A museum mount gives the print room to breathe

Every Limited Edition print includes a protective white border. In framing, this works best with a museum mount or passepartout that creates a quiet margin around the image.

That small air gap matters. It helps prevent the print surface from touching the glazing, supports long-term preservation, and gives the image a calmer presence on the wall.

Ready to Hang framed prints include an acid-free museum mount as standard.

02. The Signature Frame

Keep the frame quiet so the photograph leads

For Limited Editions, the frame should support the work rather than compete with it. The preferred framing language is restrained, minimal, and built around clean materials.

The studio framed option uses a matte black gallery profile with a museum mount. If you choose an unframed print, ask your local framer for archival, acid-free materials and a museum mount for the same preservation logic.

If the room is bright, anti-reflective glazing should be the first priority so the image stays readable and the blacks remain calm.

03. The Invisible Barrier

Anti-reflective glazing keeps darker works clearer

Standard glass reflects the room and can flatten the darker tonal range that many of these works rely on. Anti-reflective glazing keeps the image calmer and protects the visual depth of the print.

Selected framed sizes use anti-reflective art glass. For larger formats, gallery-grade acrylic may be used when it is the safer option for shipping.

The goal is always the same: fewer reflections, better tonal stability, and a more faithful viewing experience in everyday light.

Common questions

What collectors usually ask before ordering framed work

Do you sell prints framed?

Yes. Selected sizes are available as a museum-quality Ready to Hang option, professionally assembled and packed for delivery.

Is shipping framed art safe?

Framed works are packed specifically for art transport and reinforced for international shipping, so the presentation can arrive safely and ready to hang.

Can I use my own framer?

Absolutely. The unframed Fine Art Print option is ideal if you want a local framer or a frame style tailored to your space.

How should I handle the print?

Handle the work only by the white border and avoid touching the image surface. Clean cotton gloves are recommended during framing.

How long will it last?

All works are archival pigment prints on Hahnemühle cotton paper. With museum-grade materials and UV-protective glazing, the print remains stable for generations.

Do you include a certificate?

Each Limited Edition includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity and its edition details.
